Why is it that the first thing we all do when entering a hotel room for the first time is check out the complimentary bathrobes? It's not as if we don't all have on hanging in our own bathrooms at home. Hotel bathrobes are special, they're fluffier than your own, more inviting, more relaxing and generally don't have stains on them!

Over the past 10 years or so design fashion has been more of a less fussy, minimalistic style and this has filtered down to the way we furnish and design our homes. For so long the trend for window furnishing was a standard net type curtain and a fairly standard drape curtain covering the window aperture.

When I was growing up it was always a sign of intelligence to own a wrist watch. As kids we had no concept of time and we didn't need to worry about time. A wrist watch was something that we knew would govern our lives and was just something else to lose. Then along came the digital watch.
