Medical face shields provide utmost protection against various splashes or spatters fluids like blood or puss during the surgery procedure. Doctors change their face shield when the same is wet during patient treatment.

Only hygienic protective face shield can offer effective protection against infections; therefore, the face shield should be cleaned to provide reusable facial protective equipment look. Thus, the medical face shields are like protective face masks to protect medical practitioners from breathing in or inhaling particles in the air. Particularly, during dental operation doctors are required to work at times on smelly mouths which can be an awful experience and can be done only with the help of face shield as it covers the nose and mouth area.
